Stakeholder meetings of the "Determination of Industrial Emission Strategy of Turkey in Accordance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Project" was held.

The stakeholder analysis meeting was held in three separate sessions on 25 and 27 October 2020, within the scope of “Determination of Industrial Emission Strategy of Turkey in Accordance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (DIES)” Project, of which the Department of Air Management Department of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization is the beneficiary. The main purpose of the meeting was to inform the stakeholders and get their opinions on IPPC process and the project. The first session was held with participation from the General Directorates of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the second session with other Ministries and Clean Air Center Directorates, and the last session with universities, industry associations, and industrial organizations. Following issues were presented and consulted with the stakeholders:

• Presentation of the project by the beneficiary and Project team,
• Situation analysis,
• Stakeholder mapping,
• Inventory strategy development of facilities under the scope of IPPC

Besides, the importance of information exchange with stakeholders during the project was mentioned and information that may be needed was conveyed. Finally, the participants’ opinions and suggestions on the project were received.
