Within the scope of the DIES Project, at the Mineral Sector 2nd Workshop on the Preparation of Compliance Reports for Each Sub-Sector, information on the progress and current status of the DIES Project was given.
The Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) and the Green Deal targets were mentioned and the contribution of the IED to the European Green Deal targets was explained.
Survey examples of Best Available Techniques (BAT), BAT Conclusion Documents and BAT Checklist from the mineral industry were mentioned. The field studies carried out within the scope of the project and the findings obtained were explained.
Sectoral compliance and sectoral cost analysis methodologies were introduced for the mineral sector and, it continued on its 2nd day with presentations on Compliance with the IED, IPPC permission in the Mineral Sector, improvement of air quality and the IED applications in some EU countries.
