The workshops on "Data Collection for the National Action Plan" under the DIES Project were held.

Within the scope of “Determination of Industrial Emission Strategy of Turkey in Accordance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (DIES)” Project, of which the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the General Directorate of Enviromental Management,  Department of Air Management is the beneficiary, three workshops on data collection for the National Action Plan were organized. Each workshop had different target audiences and in the workshop, generally, introduction of IPPC approach and design for NAP, main objective on development of NAP and expected achievements, methodology for sectoral analysis were presented. In all three workshops, information on the introduction of the DIES Project, its general objectives and expected outputs, Methodology Development for the National Action Plan, EU Practices and Examples for National Action Plans were presented. The first workshop on Data Collection for the NAP, was held on the online meeting platform between 14 – 16 April 2021. The workshop was organized for the MoEU staff and the provincial directorates. For three days, they presented introduction, general objectives and expected outputs of DIES project, methodology development for the national action plan, EU practices, and examples for NAP. The second workshop, on the other hand, has the same content as the first workshop and was organized for universities and public institutions on the online meeting platform between 19 - 21 April 2021. The third workshop also had the same content as the first workshop and was organized for the sector representatives on the online meeting platform between 27 - 29 April 2021. It is aimed to inform the sector representatives and to get their opinions.
