The workshops on "Methodology Report for The Sectors Which Are Not Specifically Researched" under the DIES Project were held.

Within the scope of “Determination of Industrial Emission Strategy of Turkey in Accordance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (DIES)” Project, of which the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the General Directorate of Environmental Management, Department of Air Management is the beneficiary, two workshops on Methodology Report for The Sectors Which Are Not Specifically Researched were organized. Each workshop had different target audiences and, in the workshop, generally, Introduction to IED and IPPC Approach, Sectoral Analysis Methodology For Sectors Which Are Not Specifically Researched and Introduction of BAT's and BAT-AEPLs For Other Sectors were presented. In both workshops, information on the IED and IPPC approach was presented, analysis methodologies related to other sectors were introduced, and information was given about data collection methods related to the other sectors. The first workshop titled 1st Workshop on Methodology Report for The Sectors Which Are Not Specifically Researched was conducted between the dates of 23 – 25 June 2021 via online meeting platform. The scope of the 3-day workshop, organized for the MoEU staff, provincial directorates, and public institutions. They presented information on the IED and IPPC approach, sectoral analysis methodology for waste management and sectors included under other activities and data gathering for waste management and other activities.


The second workshop had the same topics as the first one and was given to the universities and sector representatives between 30 June - 2 July 2021, again via the online meeting platform.
